Monochromatic colors in photography, not only culinary, are less common. They consist of shades of the same color so that we can attract the viewer’s eye with contrast and depth of field. So the task is more complicated. In food photography, photos are more often found in warm colors, such as orange or yellow, than in cold ones. Warm colors such as yellow, orange, or red create an atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and energy. Or, as in the case of the photo below, to remind us of summer and the sun’s rays gently caressing our faces.
